Waste Watcher Award

Broad Town Pre-School has been celebrating recently as it successfully boosted its green credentials leading to it being awarded the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s Waste Watcher Award.

The award is part of the Trust’s mission to inspire people to adopt more sustainable lifestyles.

Collaborating with the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, the children were involved in various activities and workshops educating them on the importance of the environment and on making eco-friendly choices.

The pre-school invested in a composter and water butt as well as introducing various new initiatives designed to reduce waste as well as reusing and recycling wherever possible.
